We hereby want to announce that the Loaded BMW unfortunately will NOT participate in this year’s 24H race at the Nürburgring. The reason for this is that the car could under no circumstances be allowed to race with the supercharger mounted. We have had many conversations with ADAC, the organizers of the 24H event at the Nürburgring, to see if there could be any alternatives. Switching the engine to a V8 or removing the supercharger from the current engine was some of the options available. But these alternatives where not interesting as the supercharging of the Loaded BMW is a major part of the Loaded BMW identity.
We have therefore moved the focus on Loaded this year to a planned time attack at the Nordschleife together with several different models in the BMW M3 series.
The fourfold STCC champion Richard Göransson will drive the following models: E30, E36, E46, E46 CSL, E92 and possibly the E92 GTS. All of the cars will be driven with the same type of tire and on the same day to keep the weather conditions similar. It will be an M3 Collection Time attack.
Richard Göransson will on the same day also try to beat his own time in the Loaded BMW, 7:22 min set in 2007. This time we hope for better conditions with the weather and with fewer cars on the track during the time attack.
We are planning to broadcast the entire event Live through a web interface to make it possible for viewers to follow the time attacks in real-time. An online studio will also give the ability to switch between different cameras inside the cars.
We where very much looking forward to give Loaded BMW the ultimate test by participating in the Nürburgring 24H race but instead, we are now looking forward to a Time attack comeback at the Nordschleife.

Vi vill härmed meddela att Loaded BMW inte kommer att medverka i årets upplaga av 24H race at Nürburgring pga att det inte gick under några omständigheter få bilen godkänd med kompressor. Vi har haft många samtal med 24H arrangören Adac för att se om det gick att finna alternativ. Byta motor till V8 hade gått bra eller köra utan kompressor på befintlig motor. Dessa alternativ är inte intressanta, då överladdning är en stor del av bilens identitet.
Vi har därför flyttat fokus för Loadeds mål detta år till en planerad time attack på Nordschleife men då även i sällskap av flera modeller i M3 serien. Richard Göransson kommer köra följande modeller i originalutförande, E30, E36, E46, E46 CSL, E92 och kanske GTS. Samtliga bilar kommer köras med samma typ av däck och samma dag så väderförhållandena är lika. Det blir en M3 Collection Time attack.
Richard Göransson kommer vid samma tidpunkt även utmana sin egen tid 7:22min med Loaded BMW:n. Denna gång med bättre förutsättningar gällande väder och utan fler bilar på banan då attacken körs.
Hela detta event planerar vi att sända Live via webb gränssnitt så det går att följa time attackerna i realtid och med Online studio som gör det möjligt att pendla mellan olika kameror i bilarna.
Vi hade själva sett fram emot detta med att genomföra det ultimata testet på Loaded med att köra ett 24H race men ser nu istället att vi får en möjlig comeback och istället köra en time attack med de bästa förutsättningarna och mer likt de förutsättningar som övriga bilar kört time attack de senaste åren.
